Admiral Mechanical Services is the sister company to Admiral Heating
and Ventilating, which was established in 1952 and recently celebrated
its 50th Anniversary.
Admiral Mechanical Services has been in
business in excess of ten years. We service all sizes and makes

division that can handle any size piping installation.
Philosophy/Strategy
Our business philosophy is that our customers come first. Top priority
service is provided to our contract and corporate customers. In
addition, the owners of Admiral Mechanical Services have made a
full commitment to dedicate additional resources as our client base
increases-in order to ensure total quality service.
In order to keep the lines of communication open, we maintain regular
contact with the property managers, keeping them informed on the
condition and operation of their equipment. Whenever possible, we
also make solid recommendations for upgrading equipment in order
to eliminate system failures and continuous costly repair.
Financial Strength
Our combined financial strength is in excess of $40 million in annual
revenues-between our two companies, we currently employ over 240
personnel.
Service &
Pipe Fitting
Our Pipe Fitters and Service Technicians combined have in excess
of 500 years of experience in the heating and air conditioning industry.
They are factory trained to service Liebert, Carrier, Trane, York,
Carrier Centrifugal, McQuay, Clever-Brooks boilers, Marley towers,
B & G pumps, and many other pieces of equipment, not to mention
"Multistack" Modular Chiller Systems Up to 1120Tons (Factory
Service Rep.) We also have factory trained and certified test and
balancers to adjust equipment for peak operation.
Admiral Mechanical Services is always
seeking qualified individuals as our first line of supplementing
manpower. We work closely with Union Local 597 (Pipefitters Association)
to locate highly qualified workers and also utilize the various
seminars offered by the Union to further train our staff. Our existing
service personnel also take advantage of manufacturers' classes
whenever they are offered and we have in-house classes run by our
service supervisors. We have made a commitment to continuing the
education of our professional staff and tradesmen, and we place
a high priority on providing our customers with the latest information
on advancement in the heating, ventilating, and air conditioning
industry.
Further Capabilities
Our capabilities to service any account
size stem from our past history. We have a depth in our service
department unmatched by our competitors. We have the ability to
work on 5000 ton air conditioning units, down to one ton air conditioning
units. We can cover any type of heating problem-from the smallest
residential boiler to the largest power burner boiler.
Presently we are servicing approximately
6 million square feet. The geographic region we cover extends from
Wisconsin to Indiana and also includes the Joliet area and far reaching
western suburbs.
AMS staff work on the many brands of energy
management software currently on the market today. We monitor several
customers' facilities via modem connection to the building automation
system (three facilities are currently monitored in this manner).
Our men are especially trained in Johnson Metasys; we also have
Stafa, Honeywell XL 5000, and Andover capabilities. In the future,
all software is moving to open protocol systems, which should provide
access to systems that were unattainable in the past.
As stated earlier, we employ very experienced professionals and
when necessary, we draw upon the expertise of Admiral Heating's
highly qualified personnel, which includes professional engineers,
mechanical engineers, project managers, estimators, draftsmen, union-trained
mechanics, sheet metal workers, and certified test and balance technicians.
It is by working together that we have enhanced our outstanding
reputation for quality, dependability, and service.
In addition, the company operates its own fabrication shop at our
Hillside location. Our fabrication equipment utilizes computerized
technology to produce the specialized components required by our
customers. This allows us to keep pace with the always-changing
customer demands and industry enhancements, as well as to provide
our customers with a quick response.
Value Added Services
AMS can provide the capability of design-built. With our staff of
mechanical engineers, we have the ability to handle retrofitting/updating
mechanical systems.
Admiral also has a department of certified
test and balancers to ensure air quality and proper air quantity.
We offer many of our customers our monitoring service, which we
can monitor from our office or have set up through our paging system
if so desired.
